Mini Ghost Bear by Kosen - 18cm

This charming little Kösen ghost bear is made from beautifully soft white plush fabric delicately airbrushed with peach. He is part-filled with poly-pellets, which helps to give him a cuddly and slightly weighted feel, and he features an airbrushed nose and stitched mouth.

The ghost bear (also known as spirit bear) is a subspecies of the American black bear and lives in the Central and North Coast regions of British Columbia, Canada. While most Kermode bears are black, the white variant is known as ghost bear, and is most common on three islands in British Columbia (Gribbell, Princess Royal, and Roderick). Due to their rarity and appearance, ghost bears hold a prominent place in the oral traditions of the indigenous peoples of the area.
