Ghost Bear Cub by Kosen - 26cm

Kösen's Ghost Bear cub is made from the finest buttermilk coloured plush fabric with a contrasting white plush for his face. He partially filled with poly-pellets, which gives him a weighted, cuddly feel.

The ghost bear (also known as spirit bear) is a subspecies of the American black bear and lives in the Central and North Coast regions of British Columbia, Canada. While most Kermode bears are black, the white variant is known as ghost bear, and is most common on three islands in British Columbia (Gribbell, Princess Royal, and Roderick). Due to their rarity and appearance, ghost bears hold a prominent place in the oral traditions of the indigenous peoples of the area.
